UCODE RAIN RFID Chips

UCODE Series: UCODE series can easily handle multi-tasking work and processes. These chips accelerate the Internet of Things for billions of goods. They are best suited for RFID applications in Retail, Logistics, and Aviation.

It has several types of chips in this series:

1. UCODE 9xe (UCODE 9 with more EPC Memory): It is an advanced version of UCODE 9 RFID IC, which has higher 128 bits EPC memory capacity than UCODE 9. It can encode information like expiration date or production information, directly on the IC. The expansion in memory capacity enables IoT applications to be even smarter than before.

Furthermore, UCODE 9 allows for the reuse of existing UCODE 8 inlay antenna designs, providing a simple migration path from UCODE 8 to UCODE 9.

3. UCODE 8/8m: UCODE 8/8m offers high performance and is well suited for inventory management applications, e.g. Retail and Fashion. With its proven RF performance, UCODE 8/8m can read RFID tags at long distances and keep the inventory of dense RFID tags up-to-date. It also provides a Self Adjust Feature, a Product Status Flag for Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) applications.

2. Write sensitivity: -18 dBm

3. EPC memory: 128-bit/96-bit (UCODE 8/UCODE 8m)

4. Supports pre-serialization for 96-bit EPC

5. 96-bit Tag Identifier (TID) factory locked

6. 48-bit unique serial number factory-encoded into TID

7. 0-bit/32-bit (UCODE 8/UCODE 8m) User Memory

Applications: Baggage tagging, Brand protection, Inventory and supply chain management, etc.

4. UCODE with Cryptography: A highly secure UCODE series of RFID ICs which combines cryptographic AES authentication with a long read range to increase security for smart city use cases. They are suitable for applications like Automatic vehicle identification, Smart logistics, Brand protection, etc.

5. UCODE DNA RAIN RFID: UCODE DNA RAIN RFID (UHF) tag IC supports use cases that require long read ranges of up to 15 meters. The IC combines high contactless performance with cryptographic security to enable a wide range of Smart City applications, including asset tagging, autonomous vehicle identification, access control, and supply chain management.

6. UCODE DNA Track: They are designed to prove product authenticity to their customers. During the RAIN RFID inventory count, UCODE DNA Track verifies the originality, so that merchants can tell if a branded product is authentic and appropriately sourced.

UCODE with Memory: UCODE with Memory enables data storing with up to 2-kbit user memory for applications including Industry 4.0 and Aviation.

1. UCODE 9xm: The UHF RFID UCODE 9xm RFID chip by NXP supports high-performance solutions in industrial and manufacturing environments, offering high performance and an enhanced feature set with three flexible memory configurations.

2. UCODE (7xm-1k, 7xm-2k and 7xm+): The UCODE 7xm series is the most recent iteration of NXP's memory UHF tag ICs. With its read range, the UCODE 7xm is ideal for applications that require a large read range as well as extended user memory to store data specific to customers or products.

3. Encoding speed: 32 bits per 1.5 milliseconds

3. UCODE G2iM and G2iM+: In addition to the leading-edge read range, NXP's UCODE G2iM series transponder ICs provide a Tag Tamper Alarm, Data Transfer, Digital Switch, sophisticated privacy-protection modes. 

Features of UCode G2iM and G2iM+

1. Up to 640-bit User Memory

2. With UCODE G2iM, the EPC is 256 bits and with UCODE G2iM+, it is 448 bits

3. 96-bit Tag Identifier (TID)
